Parental Care Service

This service is provided through the Parental Care Section, one of the sections of the Counseling Department. It supervises the mechanism for implementing judicial rulings and judgments and amicable agreements concerning the organization of custodial matters for children of divorcees or children of broken families who have family disputes.

The service provides a safe environment for the child, where the Parental Care Section acts as a link between the child and parents, in order to enhance family communication and cohesion; works on instilling positive concepts of family cohesion; and cooperates with the child’s parents or caregivers to raise them in a healthy environment that preserves their rights.

In addition, this service prepares and rehabilitates children for the stage that follows the separation or divorce of parents. It spares them the negative effects of divorce and seeks to enable parents to care for and maintain their children and carry out their duties in a safe environment away from conflicts.
